MotoGP Jerez test: Michelin looking forward to 2008

Michelin 老闆因為今年冬天最後的測試結果,最後一天囊括前四名
沉浸在自信當中。

Michelin bosses are in confident mood following the results from
the final MotoGP test of the winter after taking the top four
places on the final day yesterday (Thursday).

本田廠隊的Pedrosa弟三天依舊領先群雄,打破自己今年三月Jerez GP的
杆位成績,削減0.84秒,隊友Hayden排第二,第三則是Yamaha新人Lorenzo。

Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa topped the timesheets on day three
0.84secs inside his pole position time from the MotoGP in March
with teammate Nicky Hayden second just ahead of Yamaha’s rookie
Jorge Lorenzo.

而羅西則困擾於手傷,妨礙他測試Bridgestone胎,Michelin有機會宣示
他們2008復仇的決心。

With Valentino Rossi struggling with his hand injury on his new
Bridgestone tyres, Michelin had the chance to show their
intentions for 2008.

Michelin的兩輪賽事頭頭Jean-Philippe Weber在測試後說:
我們帶了許多新輪胎到Jerez,因為這次測試是如此的重要。
這次測試所得到的資料是很重要的,將在冬休時幫助我們研發。

Michelin’s director of motorcycle racing, Jean-Philippe Weber
said after the test:
"We brought a lot of new tyres to Jerez because this test was
so crucial.
The data we got here is vital because it helps us to keep working
during the winter break."

我們試了新結構,新混合物,新前胎,新後胎,16.5吋和16吋都試了。
"We tried new constructions, new compounds, new fronts and new
rears, both 16.5 inch and 16 inch.

我們試了新的前胎結構,這讓我們的車手的手感更佳。
我們也試了新後胎,增加了胎邊抓地力,及牽引力,就是為了要改善
整體表現。
  
"We tried a new front construction that gives our riders better
contact feeling and improved handling. We also tried new rears,
working at increasing edge grip and traction in order to improve
overall performance.

我們在後胎結構上有了些主要進步,而我們也在新結構上試了新混合物。
We made some major forward steps on rear construction and we also
tried some new compounds with this new construction.

前四位在排位胎上展現了他們最快的單圈,但是也在比賽胎上展現振奮人心
的表現。

All four recorded their best times on qualifying tyres but also
showed encouraging performances on race tyres.

Pedrosa最後一天只用07年的212v,為了要和 Hayden 的08年 212v設定
做對照比較。

Dani Pedrosa spent his final day on his 2007 RCV in order to make
direct comparison’s to the 2007 season while Nicky Hayden spent
his time looking at set-up on the 2008 Honda RCV.

米麒麟大頭頭 Weber 說:
Dani 用16吋後胎和16.5吋一樣好,現在相信 16 吋仍有非常好的潛能,
Nicky 也仍是偏愛16吋。
  
Jean-Philippe Weber added:
"Dani worked with the 16 rear as well as the 16.5 rear and now
believes the 16 has very good potential, though Nicky is still
the most enthusiastic about this tyre.

Dani 說16吋有極佳的牽引力,儘管他要我們在穩定性上多下工夫。
Dani said the 16 has got great traction, though he wants us to
work some more on stability.

”他非常渴望在一月的 Sepang 再試試輪胎。
Dani 也告訴我們,我們必須再進化輪胎的預熱情形,這是個好消息,
所以我們會在雪邦的高溫之下再次測試這些輪胎,還有它們的耐磨。

“He is very keen to try the tyre again at Sepang in January.
Dani also told us that we have improved tyre warm-up, which is
good news, so we will try these tyres again at Sepang, with
higher track temperatures, and test their consistency.

我們也對Lorenzo留下深刻印象,他做了非常好的長途測試。
We were also impressed by Lorenzo, who did a very good long-distance
run.



這些測試都將給我們一些很有用的資料和回饋。
現在,我們會持續在冬休裡研發,持續到下次回到這裡測試,
持續到我們今年最後一場表現很棒的雪邦。

"These tests have given us some very good data and feedback.
Now we will keep working during the winter break, continuing
what we started here and perfecting our latest tyres for Sepang."

MotoGP Jerez test: Bridgestone boss Hiroshi Yamada happy with progress

山田宏,Bridgestone兩輪競賽的頭頭,一直關注著Jerez 測試的進步表現上。
Hiroshi Yamada, Manager of Bridgestone’s Motorcycle Sport Unit,
has been keeping a watchful eye on the progress being made at the
MotoGP test in Jerez.

許多車手已經熟悉自己的新車隊,新武器,而某些方面,新輪胎已經有
顯著改變準備好給明年Bridgestone陣營的車手使用。
Many riders have been busy acquainting themselves with new teams,
new machinery and, in some cases, new rubber in preparation for
next season with notable changes to the line-up of riders using
Bridgestone tyres.

而 Bridgestone 和羅西之間的新夥伴關係也開始了,以下山田宏提出
他對測試後的看法。
And with the new partnership between Bridgestone and Valentino
Rossi beginning in earnest this week, here Hiroshi Yamada give
his views on how the Jerez test has gone.

What is Bridgestone’s approach to post-season winter testing?

”一如往常,季後測試全都是關於車隊對新賽車進行測試,也常和新車手
磨合,有時候測試新輪胎。
“As usual the post-season tests are all about teams working with
new bikes, often with new riders and occasionally new tyres.

”我們必須架構我們的測試計劃,允許新車手有充份時間適應新環境,
而同樣的時間給我們現有車手去發展測試舊賽車和新賽車。
“We have to structure our testing programme to allow new riders
sufficient time to adapt to new surroundings, while at the same
time giving our existing riders development items to carry out
with old and new machines.

今年,我們已經看到真正這樣的組合出現在圍場裡。  
This year, we have seen a real combination of movements within
the paddock.

在這一方面,我們有車手,像是 Stoner 和Vermeulen,仍留在相同輪胎
和相同車隊中繼續奮鬥,但是當一個車手換了一台新賽車新輪胎組合時,
是另一個極端,舉例來說, de Angelis。
“On the one hand, we have riders, like Casey Stoner and Chris
Vermeulen, who continue in the same team on the same tyres, but
the other extreme is when riders move to a new bike-tyre combination,
for example Alex de Angelis.

我們也歡迎 Shinya Nakano 加入 Bridgestone,當他加入和De Angelis
當隊友,加入本田 Gresini 。”
We also welcome back Shinya Nakano to the Bridgestone family as
he joins De Angelis at Honda Gresini.”

看車手服裝是羅西?可是這種配色,應該是FIAT 500彩繪的塗裝。
羅西會做出踹車子的動作嗎?我沒看過@@"

車手塗裝很有羅西的風格,車輛就很像鈴木@@"
不過慶祝500上市的塗裝,也是淺藍色的。就是想
說即使再怎麼不順利,羅西也不會這麼沒風度。

是義大利人

他是義大利125cc車手Mattia Pasini


行兇照片

明年將升級到250cc

也是250cc車手巴弟的前隊友



Pasini今年在125cc滿雖的
算是叛逆小子





不過...
我想這篇怎麼有人回
原來是以為羅西踹車呀...
