Dani Pedrosa 在星期日的收官站 Valencia 仍有些微機會爭取世界第二之位

Dani Pedrosa will start Sunday's Valencian season finale still in with a slim
chance of second in the MotoGP World Championship - and a much better
chance of his first ever premier-class home win.

Repsol Honda 新星現在落後 Rossi  24分，因此，羅西只要拿下第15名(1分
積分)就足夠讓 Rossi 贏過他的對手保住第二，但是它也是 Pedrosa 追求勝利
來贏得世界第二的微弱希望。
The Repsol Hondastar currently lies 24 points behind Valentino Rossi, so
the single point earned for 15th place would be enough for Rossi to fend
off his rival, but it's certain Pedrosa will be aiming for victory in front to
keep the possibility of second place alive.

來自巴賽隆納 22 歲的他，今年唯一騎著 RC212 V 贏得比賽的車手，帶著連續
三場奪杆位(日本,澳洲,馬來西亞)來到家鄉瓦倫西亞，而二星期前在馬來西亞站
上頒獎台。
他在瓦倫西亞的紀錄也是相當優良的，在以前的比賽裡，贏過比賽，拿過桿位
及最快單圈， 2004年及2005年的250cc，2002則是125cc。
The 22-year-old from Barcelona, the only RC212V rider to win a race this
year, has claimed pole position for the three races leading up to Valencia
and was on the podium in Malaysia two weeks ago.
His record at Valencia is also excellent, having taken the race win, pole
position and fastest race lap on three previous occasions - in 2004 and
2005 in the 250cc class and in 2002 on the 125cc machine.

多了鬍渣，多了幾分成熟

瓦倫西亞是我的家鄉比賽，而且氣氛總是真的很特別，而且因為它是一年的最後
一場比賽，” Dani 說。

"Valencia is a home track for me and the atmosphere is always very
special because of this, and also because it's the final race of the season,"
began Dani.
"The motivation of everyone will be very high as it's the last chance to get
a good result and finish the year on a high ?and certainly my target will to
win here, and also to enjoy the weekend.

我們已經在最近的比賽激發出很大的潛能，但是通常某些地方會給我們問題，
因此，我希望這週末能萬事具備，讓我們獲得勝利的香檳，我認為這是我們

"We've had great potential in recent races but usually one area or another
has given us a problem, so I hope that this weekend everything can come
together and we can get the reward I believe we deserve.
The track layout itself is not one of my favourites of the year but I seem
to have gone well here in the past and it's a circuit that I have a lot of
confidence at.

"Combined with the welcome from the crowd, this makes it a really
special occasion for me and I'm very much looking forward to the race.
