瓦倫西亞將是 Edwards 特別的一個週末，最後一次替Yamaha廠隊披掛上陣，
08 年他將轉隊加入 Herve Poncharal 的衛星車隊 Tech 3。
Valencia will be special weekend for Colin Edwards, who will make his
final appearance for the factory Yamaha team before joining Herve
Poncharal's satellite Tech 3 outfit in 2008.

回顧 Edwards 在 Yamaha 廠隊的美好時光，待在廠隊三年， 2005 幫助
Yamaha 拿下車隊車廠冠軍。
Amongst Edwards' highlights during three seasons with the factory team
were the 2005 teams' and constructors' titles and a new MotoGP record
of 17 point-scoring finishes.

德州龍捲風也騎著M1上過6次頒獎台，在2006年Assen的最後一彎飲恨失去
生涯首勝。
The Texan has also taken six M1 podiums, and came within one corner of
a debut victory at Assen 2006.

今年，兩次WSBK冠軍拿過最好的成績第二名，現在位居積分榜第八，只領先
同胞 Nicky Hayden  2分。
This season, the former double World Superbike champion has taken a
best finish of second and currently sits eighth in the points - just two
ahead of fellow American Nicky Hayden.

今年的結果真的沒有照著我們的計畫走，有一些高潮和一些低潮，但是現在
我思考確定的是，瓦倫西亞會是高潮之一！
龍捲風說。
"This season hasn't really turned out exactly how we had planned, there
have been some high points and some low points but all I'm thinking
about now is making sure that Valencia is one of the high ones!" said
Edwards.

上兩場比賽異常的艱難，但是我們將會在星期五早上整理思緒(改過自新)，我們
將會從那裡再起。
當然，這是不容易在這系列裡贏得比賽的，但是那是我們在每場比賽的目標
起點。
"The last two races have been especially difficult but we're starting with a
clean slate on Friday morning and we'll go from there. Of course it is not
easy to win races in this series but that's the target we start off with at
every grand prix.

我的車隊成員整季辛苦的工作，而我真的想回報他們一些東西，在最後一場比賽
能擁有值得自豪的成績。
"My guys have worked so hard all season and I really want to give them
something to be proud of at the last race.

這是場心情異常複雜的比賽，我最後一次和廠隊出賽，但是，又真的很快樂，
我能繼續留在山葉這個大家庭。  
It's going to be a strange race - my last with the team - but I'm really
happy that I'm staying within the Yamaha family.

我的太太和一些來自家鄉的朋友正在過來的途中，因此我希望

My wife and a few friends from home are coming over too so I hope we
can make it a weekend to celebrate," he added.

這是 Colin 和廠隊的最後一場比賽，但是他將留在山葉，這對我們來說很重

"This is Colin's final race with the factory team but he will be staying with
Yamaha, which is important to us," stated team director Davide Brivio.

"From our point of view he has been a great guy to work with and the
combination with Valentino has been fantastic.

2005年，他第一年和我們合作，我們贏得車隊和車廠冠軍，和我們一起完成
這偉大的成就。
In 2005, during his first season with the team, we won the teams' and
constructors' titles, which was a great achievement together.

那就是為什麼我們很高興他繼續留在山葉大家庭，而我們希望他明年會有
非常好的表現。
That is why we are happy for him to stay in the Yamaha family and we
wish him the very best for next season."



龍捲風明年將和兩次WSBK冠軍 James Toseland 搭檔合作替 Tech 3 出賽。
而 250cc 冠軍 Jorge Lorenzo 取代龍捲風原來的位置，成為羅西的隊友。
Edwards will join double WSBK champion James Toselandat Tech 3 next
year, with 250cc champion Jorge Lorenzo taking his seat alongside Rossi
at the factory team.
